  What does Senator Obama believe? Just heard today that 12% of the electorate thinks he's a Muslim. (MSNBC)

    I don't care about his religion either, but isn't it interesting that despite his numerous claims to the contrary and his attendance in a Christian church that 12% of the population still thinks he's a Muslim?

    That baffles me.

      No, I'm kidding in my first sentence. He is definitely not a Muslim. And he definitely asserts that he was never a "practicing Muslim" at any point in his life.

        That's exactly right, but as I recently told someone I know, there are people in this country (apparently 12% in this case) who can be told the truth over and over and over and over and over and over (is that enough?) and over and over and over (are we tired of it yet?) and over and they STILL won't believe it.

        And I'm not talking about "truth" like "my god is better than your god", I'm speaking of verifiable facts that can not be disputed. You know, like, water is wet. Something like that.

        I'm just tired of it is all.
