Two converts to Christianity were convicted Wednesday of illegally promoting their faith in Muslim Algeria and handed suspended sentences and fines, their lawyer said. Rachid Mohammed Seghir, 40, and Jammal Dahmani, 36, were sentenced for "distributing documents that aimed at weakening the faith of Muslims."

    And some on this site say that other religions are tolerated inside Islamic countries.

      Some on this site say a lot of stuff...... Much of which should be carefully examined before accepting it as "gospel." Obviously, those touting the "tolerance" of Islam toward other religions are grossly mistaken!

      Much of what is spouted by non-Muslims in defense of Islam is done out of ignorance.

      And a lot of what is spouted by Muslims in defense of Islam is done under the cover of the Koran-based (though convoluted) caveat that it's OK for Muslims to lie to "infidels" if it benefits the cause of the Prophet.....
