The Firing of John Freshwater »
Posted by: Neophile 2 months, 2 weeks agoMount Vernon, Ohio is a small town with a big headache. The community of 15,000 in Central Ohio is divided over the actions of John Freshwater, a person using his position as a middle school science teacher to undermine the separation of church and state, to teach creationism in his classrooms, and to even burn crosses on the arms of his students.

I dislike the idea of saying the community is "divided" on this issue. From what I've heard (with the exception of these Minuteman United imbiciles that need to be hung up by their balls and have jalepenos stuck up their urethral slits) the whole town was pretty much "Torch the fcker"

Damm glad I'm not that child's father, as this teacher would currently be recuperating in hospital, awaiting the visit from the cops on charges of Grievious Bodily Harm, Assault, Assault on a minor (or equivalent US charge) and anything else the US law allows.
Those that claim to be "science" teachers who attempt to teach Creationism and/or ID should be re-classified as Religious Education teachers and NOT allowed back into science teaching.....

Nice post.
These psychotic creationists have been encouraged by the creationist republican regime. There is a concerted attack on science, mostly spearheaded by evangelicals who get law or science degrees, in order to attack from within.
These people are pathological, and are obsessed with brainwashing children, much like the mormons or teliban brainwash their children, in order to increase the population of their tribe.
These tribal mega-church psychopaths are ripping the country up, with political attacks, electing creationist school board members, and passing state level admendments supporting creationism. Its what they see as the first step to creating a theocracy, much like the teliban.

ABW - I've disagreed with you before (sometimes quite vehemently), but in this case, I cannot but agree with you !!! It does make you wonder EXACTLY what planet some of these people come from, doesn't it !!! Or should I say, WHO'S pulling the strings ???
And NO, before anyone starts querying my comment, I'm NOT looking for a conspiracy, merely at someone(s) with an ulterior political motive (though I can't think of a viable/justifiable one).....
