Well forgive me Neo. I don't often post stories that I myself don't have some common belief in. I fall short by thinking that you had some interest in what the title of this story suggest. "de-converting the religious".

By this example, I think I'll find a story about how I can promote pornography. I don't identify at all, but hell, why not post a story about it.

Perhaps for the same reason you described above, you said that you want to share your good news because of all the good it has done to your life. But believe it or not for some people realizing that there's no need to be afraid, that this life is all there is, is not only enlightening but it's a relief and It have helped a lot of people to improve their way of life.
This was me. This is the only shot we get at life. I'm not going to allow someone else to tell me how to live my life. Where is the logic in listening to a gay, pedophile, crack smoking servant of god tells me. Religion is amoral.

Actually I wasn't saying that YOU are afraid, but a lot of religious people are, I see it everywhere, some are afraid of not being good enough to go to heaven, others are afraid of their own desires, others are afraid of being under an "spiritual attack". When I was a little child it was more frightening to believe in the god of the bible than not to. My family are somwhat religious and I see that their faith have helped them, and I'm ok with that, but I certainly know some people who I think they would be better not believing because they suffer their faith.
