Preachers need to rally voters for Biblical values - that is, opposition to abortion and gay marriage - according to Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel. So Staver, a lawyer and former pastor, tells preachers how to do it and skirt regulations of the IRS while they are at it.

Oh...this guy did NOT just endorse breaking the law for his values. Someone should ask Hillary and Obama what they intend to do about quacks like this?

      Don't you worry.

Hillary has her own "think-tank" shills like "Media Matters" that aren't supposed to fetch votes but do anyway. And they do worse by advocating the pulling of advertising for shows with views they don't like.

Please. The left wrote the book on how to play fast and loose with vote-getting. It would be the height of hypocrisy to after churches for telling their congregation to "vote their conscience".

It's the same as P-Diddy saying "Vote or Die".

Why is this on the front page?? Propeller intends to tell its people that it is perfectly OK, nay acceptable in order to win votes to have churches cross the line and violate the law? This article is a blatant slap in the face towards gays and lesbians. I am insulted and outraged that it got this many positive votes. Am I misreading this article or is it the religious right's way of saying that gays are really non-citizens?

On closer reading of the article, I see that it is indicating what is being done by the religious right. Reporting it. Clearly, if these actions are happening as is suggested here, we need to take a stand and stop them. Whoever the "them" is.

I voted for this story in order to get it on the front page so more people could see how the religious right actually works. They are such a shining example of how to behave.

      I woundnt go THAT far.

Christian Conservatives aint stupid scum. And we aint inbred morons.

Although, we are in the process of rejecting Jesus in favor of hard line political points of view that suit our southern prejudices to a TEE.

Jesus was just, just, too LIBURAL.

These people are dangerous to America. They are our Nazi party. They talk about the Sanctity of Life but it's clear that their view of life is very inconsistent. Anyone who would support anything this administration is doing is unable to truly understand the meaning of the word life. The central distinguishing factor in totalitarianism as described in Vol. 3 of Hannah Arendt's series on the Origins of Totalitarianism is that there exists a logical system within the movement that can reduce all things to an either-or situation, so that the entire world can be explained and interpreted appropriately. For the Nazis, it was race, for Stalin and the Communists, it was Class, and for these people it's their concept of "The Word Of God". How can someone truly believe that they personally know what God is thinking about? They only evidence they give about the Gay Marriage issue is a few interviews with people on Death Row, who have nothing to do with this issue.

They're liars who just spin the word God around to control people, it's dispicable. They know they have the money to shout the loudest so they can say anything they want without reprisal. They forget the "..unless it offends someone to a reasonable extent" passage of the 1st Amendment

We'll get to choose between attending the red churches or the blue churches. Troublesome.

        More right wing evil

        All churches should be taxed.

Things that fall through the church tax loop hole,

Private estates, large tracts of land, private islands,

        yachts, personal jewelry, 2nd & 3rd cars.

Join a mega church. Better yet start your own.

Its just another way for the rich to dodge there bill.

They should be censor Christian pastors but for God's sake, stay out of the Mosques.

Question: Why is it the mere mention of politics in a conservative church brings out cries of IRS violations yet liberal churches can hold out-right political rallies and invite democratic candidates to campaign from their pulpits and not a word of critisism is heard?

            Tax ALL the Churches.

They need to be accountable like the rest of us.

And if the tax money goes to funding an illegal war that gets their kids killed, they will REJOICE that their "baby" is in heaven.

Jesus LOVES war and killin'. Right?

Staver tells preachers how to get Biblical votes and why they should not fear consequences even if they "cross the line." I assume then that you are as opposed to liberal churches endorsing democratic candidates as you are to conservative churches endorsing republican candidates.

GodTube has plenty of interesting material, if you haven't checked it out, but these 14 uploads of 2-3 minutes each may not last long - so take a look soon. Links are below. The left wrote the book on how to play fast and loose with vote-getting.
