  After viewing partway I conclude these to be out of context acusations which are not proofs or reasons that Jesus supposedly isn't God, but seeming contradictions to what is stated in the Bible.

  Read John 1:1-5, Heb1:1-5, and Heb2:17-18

  Jesus is the Word of God as a separate manifestation sent to be like us, suffer like us, bear ther sins of the world, and be sat at the right hand of the Father. God can relate to us thru Jesus, and we can trust Him because we know of His suffering thru history. He is our mediator by experience.

  This article is no more than someone picking and choosing what seems to support their erronous claim.

      In the case of the video it is a Muslim describing his view of Jesus and Allah. The Islamic "god" character and the Islamic view of the nature of god is the issue. They say "oranges" and then they say Jesus and Jehovah are "apples" so they are not god.

      But Melbatross has quoted what God has said about Himself. No to belabor the point but let me point out one comment. They are saying that Jesus was god while on earth so He would not need to eat, sleep and would never be weary. God does not sleep and does not need to eat and does not grow weary. The Bible says all of that. So what about Jesus? The Bible teaches Jesus was God so as a man he had not the taint of the sin of Adam. He is the Second Adam or the second man to come straight from God's hand and was without even the legal taint of sin. But He was a man and subject to all men face. con't.

        Con't. He had to do what Adam did not do, that is choose to obey the Father in all things and then pay for Adam's sin. Isalm cannot accept that. Their view of a being called Allah by them is much different than that presented of God in the Bible. They assert that Allah and the God of the Bible are the same but Jesus is not God. But the God of the Bible has spoken from Genesis to Revelation about His Son Jesus the Christ Who is the Messiah of Israel.

        Islam denies Jesus actually died on the cross. There are several scenarios they put forth. One is that He was taken into heaven by God without death. But that completely nullifies all the Old Testament Law and the types and shadows in their religious ritual of offering the lamb on the Day of Atonement which Jesus absolutely fulfills.

            Well, Scripture has been used to support many erroneous conclusions. The Bible comments on itself and self-interprets many times. There is one theme throughout and the clear doctrines of Scripture are simply stated and expressed.

            Trinity? The word is not there but the doctrine is. Racism? You call it that perhaps but God called it judgment if you are referring to the Canaanites. Slavery? Man will do what man will do. Some people willingly become the slaves of others and God allows it. Jesus is God? He said so about Himself and the Apostles declare it and the Book of Revelation reveals it. He is the Resurrected Christ to whom has been given all authority in Heaven and on earth.

            I for one strive to find the whole counsel of God and not just one "warm fuzzy doctrine." But it seems from your posts that you do not accept even the concept of a Creator Who has a right to dictate the order of things and to be worshiped. Such are gods to themselves.

                I am sorry you see it that way. But that again is the reasoning of a man who see his logic as superior to that of God's. That is your priviledge and God has granted you that right to choose. But there will be a price and it is of your own making and not His. He is seeking those who will willingly submit and come into a loving relationship with Him and cooperate with Him in His Eternal Purpose.

                I like Him regret that you refuse to do that.

                    Romans chapter says you are wrong. God has written on the heart of every man the innate knowledge that there is a God. What one does in response to that knowledge may lead one to God or away from acknowledging God. The choice is up to you.

                    Apparently God says He does not need give man more that Paul says has been given in that chapter.

                    Well said, Hmac. Does their bible not say that their god created man in his own image? That can be interpreted to mean that man has the ability to become as god. Does their bible not say, "Behold, the man has become like one of us"? We are each capable of becoming as that god, and if he really does exist, he should be impressed, or at least satisfied, with his creation's abilities. I don't think he would be impressed with the blind parroting of the ignorant.

                      What "blind parroting"? If one accepts the teaching of any school of philosophy and then applies it to their life are they "blind parroting"? Few would make that charge. But if a disciple of Jesus Christ does then is is "blind parroting" as if the person has not given any thought to what is being said or what one understands.

                      The Apostle Peter stated it this way, "We are not following cunningly devise fables declaring unto you the glory and majesty of Christ the Messiah but we were eyewitnesses. ..."

                      Jesus said to the woman at the well (John 4) "We worship what we know for salvation is of the Jews..." The apostle Paul made similar statements. We are not ignorant men blinding following fables. We are in touch with the Living God Who has revealed Himself through Jesus. Paul said, "I know in Whom I have believed...." We have seen as it were the Purpose of God and Know Him as He has intended. We know of what we speak.

                        Like I said, blind parroting. I don't care if it is a "disciple of Jesus", a follower of Paul (the two *are* different), a follower of Mithra, Ra, Joseph Smith, Krishna, or any other. Don't feel that I persecute you because you are a xian. That has nothing to do with it. If you can make a rational case with real verifiable evidence, I'll follow your messiah.

                        You do realize that eyewitness testimony is about the least credible form of evidence there is, don't you? Proven by the scientific method.

                          This becomes more difficult to respond to and read!! I did not miss nor ignore your remark. You asserted because you disagree with God you are a real intelligent thinker and He should be impressed with you! But if I repeat blindly the knowledge He has given then I am a disappointment to Him because I do not think! You are the one who missed the point.

                          But being "made in His image" means we are able to communicate with Him as friends. God is a spirit and man is a spirit living in a body. Communication must be spirit to spirit. That is why you are limited. You only come at it with your finite mind. Also man may exercise his free will as God does.

                          Eyewitnesses not as of an accident but one taught firsthand by Jesus. That is not disproven by scientific method. If so then all scientists are unreliable witnesses! LOL

  Is there someone forcing attempting to force God on you? We have done our duty to let you know Who His Person is. If you do not believe, brethren, that is on you not on us(your blood is not on our hands). We wont stray from the path because every round you attempt to denounce God. Our struggles as preachers has already been told to us in scripture, that is why we stand firm in the Word.

      We have done intense word study regarding these "gods". At one point we were curious to know "where did these "gods" come from?". Even Xerxes is mentioned in the Bible. We agreed that there were "lesser gods" because of the fallen angels before the flood and the "hybrids" at that time. Even after the flood. Also because of the story of Moses and pharoah. Andonai showed pharoah His sovereignty with the 10 plagues to show he is the One and only True God.

      I dont speak from my heart. I can show you in scripture brethren. You may not want to believe this, we were chosen by God before the foundation of the world. Our carnal minds want rational conclusions. But you have to find the "rational" in scripture.

  Louis Farrakhan quotes more scripture out of the KJV of the Bible than out of the koran. As for this story,Muhairi you spend alot of time trying to discredit Yeshua Hamashia vs standing on your belief. allah is a meteorite(literal). Idol,false god, probably out of the Cain bloodline somewhere. One of those Angels that fell with that "deceitful one".

          No...the scriptures are manipulated to support any position. If you comprehend the principle by context, there is only one meaning.

          You are right about us all being children of God, we all belong to Him. Are we gods - absolutely! When our generation of humanity, thru Adam was placed on this earth, we were given dominion over the earth. That means we have the power to build, destroy, of life and death - we are indeed gods.

          Our attributes are like Gods' He was before us , therefore we are like Him, not Him like us. It is our own delusion that wants to lower God to be human like. We are Godlike in human form.

          God and Allah are the same, two different languages. As for Odin, Rah, Isis, etc., They truly are ficticious images, created by a people so that they could feel like the Christian types by having a special but different deity. Nature is nothing more than a label given to the natural world as we know it and personified by pagans/heathens to create a self-righteous following. And there lies the extent of your hope - to live in the memories of those whom we influence. Are they going to live forever or does your memory die with them ? Then who knew that you ever existed ? What if you don't influence anyone ?

              I was tired and made a wrong statement. You are right about the dumb statement.... me !

              Anyway, the early deities as recognized by Egyptians, Phoenicians, Chaldeans, Greeks had their roots from Nimrod, the first to create a comparitive religion to what God had commanded thru His people up to the time of Noah(approx. 2300BC)Which worked to keep the people in a cultural bondage so the wealthy could maintain power. True Christianity(much later)is just the opposite - freedom from foolish rituals, myths, self righteousness. Not of fear.

              Moses not supposedly, but did go up mount Sinai to recieve the 10 Commandments.

              We have no record of gods being worshipped before Adam.

            Please....show me in scripture where Elohim and allah are the same.. Not from your feelings or thought process. Nature is a very important part of life. Did you know that there are 20-25 elements found in Earth that also make up the human body ?. Dont discount Hmac's beliefs..Elohim and Nature are real. Nature was corrupted by an ill decision of man, this is proven spiritually by scripture.

              As with a lot of statements in the Bible,the basics need to be"lumped"together to draw conclusions.God states"I am the One true God",therefore there are no others.Any that are listed are frauds(I have to go back and correct some of my statements,as HMAC pointed out-#&*! he got me).God chose Abraham to make His covenant with.His first son was Ishmael,who became the father of the Arab nations.His second son,Isaac was the one who the agreement continued thru,who also thru his son Jacob had Esau.Esau's descendants lived alongside and blended into Ishmaels descendants.God - Elohim to the Hebrews,- Allah to the Arabic.Both words stating One God as interpretted into English,although Elohim is pluralistic which fits as to how God presents Himself.This is a point of contention between Christians,Jews and Muslims.Christians and Jews recognize the pluralistic nature of God - Muslims only recognize the singularity of God.Therefore they don't accept Jesus as God.

  Why do I reject all other gods.

  Well first most of them are inconsequetional now. But they still have their adherents. In fact some are coming back.

  First the stories about them make them just like men just larger then life. The GOD of the Bible though is completly different.

  The GOD of the Bible is a GOD of law and order. The Bible is considered a HOLY book by three of the main relgions in the world. The Bible is a revealed relgion where GOD sent prophets to speak to men. The others did not.

  JESUS actually tells us how to be saved. Which was a big discussion among philosphers in the Roman days. JESUS actually came back to life as a human being the others did not.

      The Roman Catholic church may have assimilated the pagan religions as they continued to do in the New World in South America. But Protestants who may celebrate a traditional birth of Christ have not.

      The virgin birth and His death and resurrection was prophesied long before those pagan perversons came along. But you are convinced I am sure. If you ever long for inward peace let me know and I will introduce you to the Risen Lord Jesus Christ.

      No it is not. The bible contains Medical Knowledge not discovered until the 20th century. It has acuratly predicted the future and it has a strict Moral Code.

      As one aganostic commentator noted. GOD may not have existed but the jews had some really good generals. The Midianites were enemies of Israel and worked to destroy them. Are you saying they should have just give up and died?

  Each writer of a Gospel had a different emphasis to be sure. Mark wrote primarily to reach one group and Matthew wrote as a Jew to Jews and to pull aside the veil of the OT prophecies. John reveals pictures of the character and nature of Jesus. Not conflicting stories but style and emphasis. Eyewitnesses do that. Many here have bought into schools of textual criticism but just think about it. Reading each of the Gospels is like listening to someone tell a story to of which each had a part to play. Luke gives specifics only an eyewitness would as does John. There are little cameos of dialog, human interest if you will, which would have caught the attention of the writer as they observed it.

  I see it often with a team that travels together. Each person picks up on a particular item of information that clicks with them and later ignites their imagination or memory. That is LIFE in motion and not some fiction written 100 years after the facts.
