God hates America, the Westboro Baptist Church tells everyone. He hates us because we are a nation which tolerates gays, blacks, Catholics, Muslims, and just about everyone who isn't them.

This is definelty a group that needs to be contianed. After reading former articles of them picketing funerals I was impauled. It shows total direspect for anything but this groups own interest, including his racial slurs he shows nothing to me that would show he is a christian.

I disagree, populist. These people are the loud an obnoxious equivalent of screaming fire in a crowded theater. They are a danger to themselves and others and should not be allowed to scream out their hate-filled speech. Some could construe it to be treasonous in this time of war.

As a christian I often criticize Muslims for not speaking out against terrorist groups, I will not stand by and see radical hate groups use Gods name for their mission in Christianity either and therfore am speaking out about this particular group that practices rasism.

if more people did things like that - and stood up for what is right, then maybe the world would be a better pace.

I think it is time that all true christians stand up and voice out against those who are practicing hypocracy in the name of the Lord. Those who are rasist. Christians we need to be servants. To the poor, the needy the hungry, we need to be a light that will draw people to the Lord.

Or a lamp shade, so we aren't blinded by the same delusion.

These folks should be banned from protesting period. A new amendment to the constitution. If you protest at someones funeral, you are banned from protesting for ever :) My state (Kentucky) tried to ban them but the ACLU came to their defense. We did get a law passed to keep them from a certain number of feet away from funerals. They came here to protest at a soliders funeral. I didn't like this article though, it was an attack on the Bible, took the Bible out of context and was more about denouncing the Bible than denouncing these folks, who all belong to the same family and most of them are lawyers. This is an issue with their family more than Christianity. Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities of darkness in the spirtual realms.

Not exactly Hmac. What you said about Loving God is the greatest commandment and loving your neighbor as yourself. But all of us face daily battles in the spiritual relm.

If Jesus came to America today, would he see any difference between the legalistic nature of the leaders and pew-fillers of our religious/political organizations and the Pharisees of his time? Would he see very many of our churches in service to others, or would he see people using their Bibles as weapons to show how clever and superior they are to others? What might he think of our asking for mercy and forgiveness of our own sins during prayer time, yet not showing any mercy or forgiveness of others as we go about our daily lives?

Would he be disappointed that his admonitions of turning the other cheek, loving our enemies and praying for those who persecute us are widely rejected as outdated notions from an earlier time, that now we seek our safety from worldly governments to imprison, torture or kill those same people? That the beam in our eye is now of much lesser importance than finding the speck in our brother's eye and making that the object of our self-centered outrage?

Shows how amazingly distorted faith can get. It's a shame a faith that could do so much good gets soo much bad press because of idiots like this.

I think evryone believes a spiritual relm exist, that Being God, voodu, black magic, ect. There are many Gods being worshiped. In this spiritual relm battles are going on, this site is one of the best examples.

But there is no real proof that can say this one was a meat either and this one was a veggi, being that it was also possible that for the inability to find meat the meat eater would eat other things as we do today.

When it is stated an animal is a carnivore, this means that meat is the animal's primary diet, not the only thing it would ever eat. Of course it is true that a starving animal unable to find its preferred food source will seek out alternatives! If you are speaking of humans, we are generally omnivores, meaning we usually derive nutrition from both plant and animal sources. That some humans choose to be vegetarian has nothing to do with dinosaurs!

This has always been one of my problems with evolution scientist. They make such statements as if they were fact when its only theory. They have nothing to prove what ate what except speculation. Even how the animals (dinos looked like except for a skeliton. Sinece all skins would deteriate there colors and skin texture are also speculation or not?

When you get down to it, it is only theory that anyone posting on Netscape is a human, rather than say, a dog, a fish, or a rosebush. It is, however, a very sound theory.
