Some performed very scary stances, some in trance helping devotees in trouble and some trying to cure the explained sicknesses. Very often devotees came to ask for lucky numbers.

That's right God's servant. God is an intolerant, rigid, no nonsense male. He would absolutely not allow anyone to believe anything else, but some particular form of Christianity or He would damn them all to Hell.
Seriously, I sank this story, because I get sick and tired of hearing about how some poor lost soul from some alternate religion was saved because he "saw the light" and became a believer in Jesus. Baloney.

I too, decided to sink the story. Not because of imagined miracle transformations or misguided idealism but because it is not inspiring and lacks credibility.

To this person in an eastern culture it is a step up to accept Jesus. It was made obvious to him that Jesus would help any one who will turn wholeheartedly to Him. In a polytheistic society it is truth gained. On the contrary our society had started with Jesus then brought in every found indigenous philosophy to the point of pushing Jesus out. This is to our shame and eventual ruin.
