Quite interesting, but still just a strawman argument.

So, I'm not supposed to believe in God because Seth Green doesn't believe in God?

The problem with this whole video is that people can be very knowledgeable in many areas and entirely lacking in knowledge in other areas. You could make another video showing prominent intellectuals who believe in God, but does God come into existence or cease existing when somebody makes a good argument for or against him?

        MSaleem -

Thanks. It's noce top be reminded that great things come from people regardless of their belief in a religious credo. Only goes to show you that virtue is not relegated to the "holy."

Some of my childhood heroes were feaured in that piece. Some of the people who motivated me to study and think for myself were featured in that piece. Some of the people who have contributed the most to cvilization were featured in that piece.

        Again, thank you very much.

Thanks for the history lesson because that is all it is; it does not prove any thing except the fact that God does not make trash. Do you see yourself worthy of his best?

What will the electricity by Edison along with computer systems ala Gates with support from the noted physicists do to the charitable works on earth done by the other atheists when their great inventions are used in a nuclear war? Possibly change their thinking on who is truly in control?

We are all created in God's image, so most of us are pretty smart and capable, however(From NIV Translation):

1 Corinthians 1:27-28 - God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, things that are not, to reduce to nothing things that are, so that no one might boast in the presence of God.

My whole life, I've noticed how the most annoying & idiotic people out there also tend to boast about how religious they are.

Not to say that the most intelligent people I've met are never annoying, but they do at least shut up about how holy they are. It's as if they've thought about it and realized what it was really all about.

Not at all. Atheiest don't really proselytize. You believe whatever you want (after all, this is America)

Just don't think that believing in God somehow makes you better than other people.

Please don't tell me that you are turning away from God at least partially because these repulsive Republican, 'Jesus Camp', page molesting, Bill Bennett, Xian extremist hypocritters bring all of us to nausea!

"Jesus was my son ... Mohammed was my son ... the man who said there was no room in the inn was my son -- even the owner of this inn who charges too much for a steak was my son. ... Let's mush on!"

75% of the people in prison are Christians; whereas, only 0.2% of the people are atheists. Is this a surprise? Absolutely not. Sick people are drawn to religion.

Turn away from religion all you want, and you probably should, but don't turn away from God that is within you.

"The kingdom of God cometh not with outward show; neither shall they say, Lo here! or, Lo there! for behold, the kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17: 20, 21.)

Essentially, followers of the Bible are doing nothing but idolizing human beings, since human beings, not God, wrote the Bible.

Not idolizing human beings, but actually worshipping human beings which I believe is taboo. Anybody can claim to be inspired by God and write a book.

Maybe, it was actually the Devil pretending to be God's deciples, who actually wrote the Bible. You can never trust the Devil.
