This is most troubling. The most outrageous part of this article is the title. It is doubtful that any true Christian would worship a picture of the President. That is outlandish. If it's true then this is a cult indeed. Now, if it turns out that the kids are praying FOR (not to) the president, then the article is somewhat slanted.

I am forced to ask, where are the parents of these children and did they give consent for their children's images to be in this documentary?

The "militaristic" allegory is alsoquite upsetting but there is a history in this country (think of the hymn "Onward Christian Soldiers marching as to war..."). When that was written, it was a "spiritual" warfare. Now that children in the Middle East are taught the wonders of suicide bombings and practice wearing the bombs at a young age, the Christian people are doing themself a disservice by attaching themselves to this terminology of war, especially during a time of war.
